This week DISA published the MobileIron Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to their approved list under “Mobile Device Manager.” This approval allows U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to deploy MobileIron on both Android and iOS devices within certain DoD networks. This approval will make it easier for the DoD to deploy MobileIron to manage and protect their growing population of modern mobile devices.

Gartner has published the 2016 Enterprise Mobilty Management Report. Gartner has positioned MobileIron as a Leader in its “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites” for the sixth
consecutive year. MobileIron is the only stand-alone EMM vendor to appear in the Leaders Quadrant this year.
Gartner describes EMM suites as “the ‘glue’ that connects mobile devices to their enterprise infrastructure.” The report notes:
