Universal Mobile Services for the BlackBerry - Isec7 signs exclusive distribution agreement with Terratial Technologies to deliver innovative services for enterprises and consumers
ISEC7 presents innovative solutions at Systems 2004, based on the mobile application platform from Terratial Technologies.
From instant enterprise content dissemination to LIVE viewing of security cameras BlackBerries are capable of much more than delivering instant email. For the enterprise customer, as well as for the consumer the Blackberry has become the ultimate mobile enabler. Beyond e-mail delivery, personalization and customization of the BlackBerry in the form of personal screen savers and logo replacement have been natural extensions to the device capability.
Leveraging the always-on access to the web has started a new way of presenting information and data on the BlackBerry. Terratial Technologies has taken the bold step to provide the BlackBerry user with the option to “tune” the device to a particular channel via a remote control-type interface. The content of each channel can be a series of images, different file types, even views from live cameras monitoring babies, properties or traffic.
ISEC7 as one of the most successful BlackBerry companies in Europe has recognized that Terratial’s offerings can make a big difference in the utility of BlackBerries for their corporate customers. Especially when it comes to sharing of information and data amongst the employees of a corporation. The fact that information in the form of presentations and diverse file formats can be shared instantly turns Terratial’s products coupled with the premier service by ISEC7 into a winning proposition for the corporate customer.
Terratial LIVE is a web-based subscription service that currently includes three primary channels: ScreenEngager LIVE allows continuous viewing of images, pictures, presentations for immediate on-call access, all with minimal memory and battery consumption. Via the optional Sharing service one active subscriber of ScreenEngager LIVE is able to share the image collection with non-subscribing color BlackBerry users. SkipTraffic LIVE provides a driver a bird's eye view of the area's traffic situation and currently supports 50 metropolitan areas worldwide. Surveillance LIVE enables the connections to security and web cameras.
In addition Terratial offers stand-alone products such as ScreenEngager Dynamic for logo replacement and branding and BBImageViewer that enables BlackBerry users finally to be able to view graphical e-mail attachments up to the size of the display. |
